Early construction on Parkes Special Activation Precinct begins June | Parkes Champion-Post

The Parkes Special Activation Precinct is now gearing up for construction after the $126 million contract to design and build the site was announced on Thursday.

The contract for initial works – awarded to Fulton Hogan – comprises upgrades to local roads and supporting utilities, including sewer and water, electricity and gas, telecommunications, bridges and more than 7 kilometres of new roads.

Work on the design is already underway and the construction team is expected on site in the next month or so.
